On July 1, Okanagan residents and visitors will pull on their favourite red and white attire and head out to some of the best Canada Day celebrations in the region. It’s a day to showcase all things Canadian and show our pride for the true North, strong and free. Whether you’re visiting Kelowna accommodations for the first time or have lived in the valley your whole life, there will be an event for everyone.


Canada Day at Big White

Celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday at Big White ski hill. Arrive around 11 am and ride the Bullet Chair to the celebration. There will be a scavenger hunt, a bucket list party, and tons of prizes.

Calling all artists! Channel your inner Lawren Harris and head to the Kelowna Art Gallery this Canada Day. Paint on easels, sidewalks, and cardboard boxes to help celebrate Canada’s century and a half birthday.
