The Spring Okanagan Wine Festival is a fun, entertaining and informative way to get out and experience Kelowna wine.
Kelowna wine will take centre stage as the annual Spring Okanagan Wine Festival gets underway from April 28 to May 8 in the Central Okanagan. If you’ll be staying at one of the Kelowna hotels in the area, this is a terrific opportunity to get out and experience some of the tantalizing varietals this region has to offer.

This is one of the top events of the entire festival. Hosted at the gorgeous Rotary Centre for the Arts, attendees will get to sample more than 250 wines from 60 wineries from across the Okanagan. The event features:

This is a must-do event for those staying at Kelowna pet friendly hotels. Kelowna's Lakeshore Wine Route and the SPCA are teaming up to throw a pooch-friendly party. While your pet enjoys some tasty treats, you can savour canapés that are perfectly paired with the Kelowna wine produced at each of these vineyards:

You’ve seen top chefs battle it out on reality TV. Now watch as a trio of BC wine experts are tasked with pairing wines with a series of gourmet dishes and cheeses. As an audience participation event, you get to cast your vote for your favourite sommelier (via text, so don’t forget your smartphone).

When: Saturday, May 7, 3:30 to 5 p.m.

Also known as ‘honey wine,’ mead is renowned as the world’s oldest fermented beverage, predating both wine and beer. This fun-filled event will teach you all about its remarkable history and how you can pair it with your favourite foods.
