Be greeted with smiles and get ready—this is where the story telling begins. Trailhead Ed is a local historian and will share his 25 years of experience, local lore, and history en route to the designated trail for the day. Once you arrive at your destination, you will be fitted with snowshoes and do a short instructional session, which continues along the trail. You will cover techniques and proper usage on variable terrain and be a snowshoeing expert in no time!

Each tour is customized to ensure the best experience. Trailhead Ed is well seasoned to the area and will take you to spots where regular visitors don't even have a chance to venture or experience the views. "Me and Örn had a great time. Ed is very knowledgeable about the history of the region and we learned a lot from him. I had never been snowshoeing before. But it turned out to be pretty easy, and there is also no elevation difference along the old railway tracks. We walked along the canyon through two tunnels and over a lot of trestles. The scenery up there is absolutely beautiful, as you can see on the pictures. I would recommend this trip to anyone who wants to try something different and see the beautiful landscape around here in winter."
