More and more, Kelowna is becoming known for attracting some of the world’s most popular musicians. On Feb. 15, Kelowna hotels will be packed with Okanagan music lovers attending either one of two amazing concerts: Hedley or Zakk Wylde.
Depending on your taste—boy band pop music or hard rock—you’ll be sure to find a show you won’t soon forget. Here are the details for each performance:
The Canadian pop stars behind Hedley begin their coast-to-coast Wild Live Tour in Prince George Feb. 14, with Kelowna fans getting the chance to take in the tour’s second high energy show Feb. 15 at Prospera Place.
These Juno award winners are promoting their fifth studio album—Wild Life and the hit single Crazy For You—which is already getting rave reviews by fans and radio stations. At this concert, you’ll also get to hear from opening performers and rising pop favourites Danny Fernandes, JRDN, and Alyssa Reid.
Hedley frontman Jacob Hoggard says he can’t wait to get to fans in Kelowna and all the other 29 cities the band’s performing in. “We want to see all of your beautiful, shining faces there.”
Hedley tickets, which range from $34.50 to $64.50, are available through www.selectyourtickets.com or by calling 250-762-5050. The concert is being held at Prospera Place, just a short drive or walk from many Kelowna hotels.

You might not recognize his name, but if you’re of a certain age, you’ll recognize his sound. Zakk Wylde, the former guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne, is also revered for his role in the heavy metal band Black Label Society.
In Kelowna, though, Wylde fans will be treated to a special acoustic performance by this guitar great. Wylde is a talented multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and even actor.
Advanced tickets are already sold out but there are some available at the door if you get there early. Wylde performs at LeVel Nightclub, also just a short walk or drive from many Kelowna hotels. Tickets are $35 plus GST and doors open at 7 p.m.
