Road Warriors Seek Business Hotels in Kelowna
September 22, 2011
On the Road Again....
This is the time of year when everything gets back to grind. School, work, and business resume after a brief hiatus of summer holidays. Every September, corporate folks start storming our YLW airport, renting cars, and checking in and out of Kelowna business hotels. They usually carry one practical piece of luggage and perhaps a laptop, as well as all the necessary high tech gadgets to keep them connected at all times. They move effortlessly and efficiently, having mastered all the basics of travel. Ahhhh, the life of a Road Warrior.
The key to being a successful Road Warrior lies in what you as an individual can do to better streamline your life for business travel. (That, and the ability to go with the flow, even when a delayed flight or traffic has stopped said flow.) Similarly, the key to being a successful business hotel in Kelowna lies in what we as a group can do to better streamline a business traveler's life. In other words: Comfort meets Function. Now there's a great business plan.
Because traveling for business can be very stressful - long hours on the road or in the air, deadlines, endless meetings, unfamiliar surroundings, missing family & pets, and the possibility of lumpy hotel pillows and bad coffee (shudder) - The Best Western Kelowna Hotel caters specifically to a corporate traveler's needs and wants. Our Executive Rooms and One Bedroom Suites are perfectly suited for a small gathering or business meeting, as well as relaxing and unwinding after a busy day. (Not to worry: our pillows are fluffy and our coffee is delicious) Use of our Business Centre is available to all of our hard-at-work guests, including faxing and copying services provided by our helpful Best Western team. And we're more than happy to book taxi pick-ups, airport shuttles, or even make restaurant reservations for that big dinner meeting. Staying with us is like having your own office and support staff. And of course we also offer an outstanding selection of meeting and conference facilities, AND we take care of all the details for your event – we're awesome like that.
To all those Road Warriors who travel on business, live out of a suitcase most of the year, and stay at numerous business hotels in Kelowna and around the world, we salute you. (And remind you to call your family, collect travel rewards, and wear comfy shoes.)
