4 Useful Room Tips from Best Western Kelowna TripAdvisor Guests

October 31, 2015

At our Kelowna hotel, we like to think we operate a comfortable hotel that offers great value. Many of our guests who have left a review on the Best Western Kelowna TripAdvisor page affirm this.

Through their feedback on the TripAdvisor website, we learn what visitors like most about our hotel, as well as things we can improve upon. In particular, we appreciate the responses we receive in the "Room Tips" section. They provide great insight for those who are considering booking a stay with us.

The tips cover an array of topics:

  • Room types
  • Room locations
  • Best views
  • Mobility issues
  • Family stays

Here a few of the room tips from Best Western Kelowna TripAdvisor guests we think you might find helpful.

Room Tip #1: Try the Tower Rooms

Scott B. from Merritt, BC stayed two nights in a king suite with his family earlier this month and says: “The tower rooms are amazing, but from what I understand, they are all nice.”

Indeed, our tower rooms offer terrific views of the city, plus they offer exceptional peace and quiet.

Room Tip #2: Choose a Room with Access to Your Favourite Amenities

Gary W. from Vancouver booked our three-night Championship Golf Package and stayed here with a group of eight friends. He says this isn’t the first time he and his gang have done this, adding: “We really like the hotel as a base.”

For his room tip, Gary says: “Ground level room with two double beds makes hot tub, pool (and) breakfast very accessible.”

Room Tip #3: Courtyard-facing Rooms a Good Choice for Families

Cathy W. from Edmonton visited our hotel in July, and while she travelled solo, her room tip is for families: “If you have kids and want to keep an eye on them when in the pool, ask for a main-floor, courtyard-facing room.”

We always advise that you watch over young children when they’re around the pool area, and this is a great way to do it.

Room Tip #4: If You’re Looking for a Kelowna Pet Friendly Hotel…

Victoria’s Brenda A. and her partner stayed with us for three nights in June, in one of the hotel’s pet-friendly rooms. They like many of the room features:

  • Ground floor
  • Spacious with a big bathroom
  • Laminate and tile flooring
  • Cool room (even during June heat wave)

Brenda’s room tip: “We had a room that was for dog owners, though we didn't have our dogs with us. But it was on the ground floor, with French doors and a patio area outside. There was also grass beyond that which would be ideal if you had dogs.”
