A new report from the Federal Aviation Administration found no problems on foreign airlines with flight safety related to cell use in the air. This raises the questions as to whether the U.S. cellphone use ban is outdated.

With the brilliant autumn leaves changing colors, the color green is probably the furthest thought from your mind this fall. But there is no better time to “go green” than when the weather begins to cool down! Our Kelowna hotel is busy prepping for the cold weather ahead and thought we’d share some tips with you that won’t consume much of your time or money.

We’ve all been there... waiting in a long line only to meet mass congestion when you get to the conveyor belt while people try and take off shoes, extract laptops, empty pockets, find boarding passes—and oh, yes—remove belts and jewelry, all simultaneously. There are a few things you can do ahead of time to avoid being “that guy” or “that lady” at whom all the other passengers roll their eyes.

Whether traveling by yourself for business or for pleasure, you need to take extra precautions to keep safe. More than a quarter of North American adults will take a trip by themselves in the course of a year, and while most may go problem-free, you can never be too safe.
